• Resource defines that the business concept is based on acting as a resource and an “extended arm” for manufacturing and selling technical companies /suppliers towards their end customers.

About the company

It all started with the electrical engineer and car enthusiast Wilhelm Grimm, born in 1876.

He was the first man to drive an original Daimler motor vehicle in Kirchheim-Teck.

He laid the foundation for the development of the company Apparatebau. In 1903, he founded his own electricity company and in 1918, he founded the company "Apparatebau" - a company that manufactured electrical parts for commercial vehicles.

Today, Apparatebau Kirchheim-Teck GmbH (AK) has its own design, manufacture and testing of electrical and electromechanical components and solutions for mainly commercial vehicles.

This means that AK has been a reliable contact for more than 100 years!
